Surviving Thanksgiving

Well, I hope everybody survived Thanksgiving! We all had a great dinner at Kellyand Jess' this year, and everybody brought a special dish. Kelly did great pies, my Mom made her amazing cheescake(I'll get that recipe to you soon), and I made the Turkey, stuffing, and sweet potatoes. I usually cook dinner at our house, so I got off easy. Now the truth about Thanksgiving is that it IS a guys holiday,(You know it girls!) the guys get waited on, while drinking beer, and watching football. We cook, decorate, serve, and clean-up. Then we get to do this all again in a month, only throw in Christmas cards, presents to wrap, and a whole house to decorate, and they give ALL the credit to a fat guy in a red suit! No wonder kids don't believe past the age of six! I man pulling off all this stuff-NO WAY! O.K., I'm not male bashing, but that's what I see from my view, maybe you have a guy who cooks, and decorates, if so, don't let him outta your sight! Well, I'm off to conquer Christmas. If my car gets rear-ended Christmas could be over, cause it's all in the trunk!
